A creative writer, my book, CHILDHOOD'S REND: MEMORIES OF THE DOG STAR, is FREE at Scribd.com. I'm a 100% intuitive INFJ and am looking for INFJ's/creative/super-intelligent people to share my creativity, to engage in scintillating conversations, and to establish Siriusian mind-melds or mind2mind connections. I love Faulkner, Kristofferson, Prine, Seger, Simon & Garfunkel, Dali, wood fireplaces, rain on a tin roof, the smell of wisteria, honeysuckle, and new-mown hay, candles, incense, stream-of-consciousness writing, and intense conversations. I am a Kierkegaardian existentialist Christian who thinks it is more rational to believe in God than not, but I do not hesitate to question him or Him, and I have far more problems with this Creature/Entity/First Cause than with Jesus, whose teachings were and still are relevant, revolutionary, and transformative. I love cosmology and space, inner and outer, and am fascinated with time and the concept of infinite and parallel universes.

Comments regarding Reimer Seeds

Dave's Garden has listed thirty-two complaints against this company , mostly for poor seed germination and sorry customer service. In fact reading the complaints and Reimer Seeds response, the customer "service" folks at Reimer Seeds are the most rude and ungracious people I have ever found in the gardening/plant/seed community.

Do NOT order from Reimer Seeds: reimerseeds.com [reimerseeds.com]

Here are few selected customer complaints:

My frends bought pepper seeds from REIMER.
But very few germination rates of them.
And what is worse, NO REFUND.
They say, refund is only for USA.

It seems that REIMER swindle Japanese out of money !

Until I read other experiences with germination rates I did not know why my Mexibell peppers had a germination rate less than 10%. I do need my seeds to germinate as I am now scrambling to figure out how to replace those seeds (rather they should be transplants by now) that did not make it.
In the future I will be more cautious.

The worst rate of germination from any seed bank I ordered from. Sometimes, you will get some other seed than what you ordered. I ordered some pepper seeds that were supposed to be from the Republic of Georgia. My friend from Tbilisi said the name was made up and not even remotely Georgian. Not one of 30 or more seeds germinated. I no not have this problem from Burpee or seeds i save myself. I sent an e-mail to complain and ask to evoke the guarantee. They sent an e-mail back saying that it was probably my fault. I gave them all the information they asked for then I never heard from them again. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY.

The rudest and most unprofessional people I have done business with (I wouldn't call what they do business). I am bordering on they are a fraudelent company making alot of money from people who fail to take action for a $4-5 order as it's not the trouble. I am reporting this company to the Better Business Bureau. I do hope that you all do the same.

They lure you in with all the varieties then screw you with crappy seeds or mystery seeds. Horrible customer service too. The only thing good about them is their website.

Here's my Reimer's Seeds story.

In March 2006 I ordered seeds from Reimer's: Gypsy Peppers and Dona Tomatoes. I planted the pepper seeds and not a single one germinated.

My major problem is the fact that out of 25 seeds i had planted which were Tepin Hot Pepper seeds Only one sprouted that is from what I believe less then 5% of a germination rate.

In two words they are the rudest and the most unprofessional merchant I have dealt with on the internet.

I try to pass them an order which did not go through because of a 9 digit zip code matter.

When I asked them to explain me what it was they told me that I was "too lazy" to look at their help menu.

They have a section for comments on their site. When I passed them the exchange I had with their CS and explained the way I was treated the reply I received was that such reply was normal because "I was wasting their rime"

When I told them how rude they were they banned me from their site.

After having read all the negative comments on them in Davesgarden I am glad that my order did not go through.

FREINDLY ADVICE : DON'T BUY ANY SEEDS FROM THEM WHEN THERE ARE SO MANY SEEDS PROVIDER
